El grup de combo The nine, format per vuit joves músics d'entre 12 i 13 anys, és una formació amb tres anys de trajectòria sota la direcció del professor Eduard Freixa. Els integrants del grup són: Guillem (bateria), Lotta (violí), Milena (piano), Jana (veu), Valeria (veu), Joan (piano i teclats), Adrià (piano) i Genís (guitarra).

Aquesta formació no només destaca pel seu entusiasme i treball en equip, sinó també pel seu esperit creatiu i compromís amb la cultura local.

The musical group The Nine, formed by eight musicians ages 12 to 13, has been working for three years under the direction of teacher Eduard Freixa. The members of the group are: Guillem (drums), Lotta (violin), Milena (piano), Jana (vocals), Valeria (vocals), Joan (piano and keyboards), Adrià (piano) and Genís (guitar).

This formation not only stands out for its enthusiasm and teamwork, but also for its creative spirit and commitment to local culture.

Des dels seus inicis, el grup ha estat involucrat en diversos projectes musicals de la zona, convertint-se en part activa del panorama cultural de Balsareny. Recentment han realitzat la composició i gravació en estudi d'una cançó-himne que representa l'essència i la tradició de la festa d’Els Traginers, la festa més popular del poble. La cançó va ser molt ben rebuda per la comunitat durant la seva estrena en l’última edició de la festa.

A més de la seva implicació en la festa d’Els Traginers, on van actuar a la coneguda "Taverna dels Traginers", el grup ha ofert actuacions en diversos actes locals i esdeveniments de la zona, així com en audicions i concerts organitzats per l’escola de música de Balsareny. La seva música reflecteix la influència de diversos estils moderns i actuals, aportant una energia fresca i juvenil que connecta amb el públic de totes les edats.

Since its inception, the group has been involved in various musical projects in the area, becoming an active part of the cultural scene of Balsareny. They have recently composed and recorded a song-anthem that represents the essence and tradition of Els Traginers Festival, the town's most popular festival. The song was very well received by the community during its premiere in the last edition of the festival.

In addition to their involvement in the Els Traginers Festival, where they performed at the well-known "Taverna dels Traginers", the group has performed at various local events and along the area, as well as in auditions and concerts organized by the Balsareny Music School. Their music reflects the influence of various modern  styles, bringing a fresh and youthful energy that connects with audiences of all ages.
