Playing Guitars
La formació Playing Guitars de l’escola de música de Birsfelden (Musikschule Birsfelden) està formada per quatre simpàtiques alumnes, Karen, Divya, Ruby i Sarina, que des de fa 5 anys toquen la guitarra juntes i també canten.
El seu repertori és tant de música intrumental per a quatre guitarres (clàssica o popular), com música pop/rock arranjada per a l’agrupació, on la veu també pren un paper molt principal i on la formació s’amplia amb el baix elèctric.
Elles han participat en diferents concerts i festivals de l’escola de música a Birsfelden i a les ciutats del voltant. També han fet diversos videos en la època de la pandèmia, juntament amb el grup de guitarres Tic Tac Gitarris de la mateixa escola.
Últimament han participat al concurs de Música de cambra (Ensemble Wettbewerb) de BaselLand, on han guanyat el tercer premi.
Playing Guitars
The ensemble Playing Guitars from the Music School of Birsfelden (Musikschule Birsfelden) in Switzerland, consists of four cheerful students: Karen, Divya, Ruby, and Sarina, who have been playing guitar and singing together for five years.
Their repertoire includes both instrumental music for four guitars with classical and pop/rock music arranged for the group, including both instrumental music and songs, where the voice also plays a very important role. Occasionally, the songs are also complemented with the addition of an electric bass in some pieces.
They have performed at various concerts and festivals organized by the music school in Birsfelden and nearby cities. Additionally, they recorded several videos during the pandemic in collaboration with other groups from the same school.
Recently, they participated in the Chamber Music Competition (Ensemble Wettbewerb) of Basel-Land in Therwil, where they won the third prize.
